Becoming a member
Library membership is free and open to all residents of Queensland by presenting personal identification and proof of current residential address. You can join online and then visit one of our 7 branches to validate your account and collect your membership card. There is no minimum age for joining but those under the age of 18 are required to register in person with a parent or guardian, who must also be a library member.
Your library card gives you access to all library resources including digital collections.
Conditions of membership
I agree to abide by all Tablelands Library services, policies and conditions of use and
- To borrow items you must present your library membership card.
- All items are available for a 4 week loan except Interlibrary loans and heavily reserved items.
- You may borrow up to 35 items at a time, while visitor members can borrow 5. Items must be returned on or before the due date to any branch of Tablelands Libraries.
An after hours chute is available at each branch. - Items may be renewed twice (except when reserved by another borrower). Renewals can be done online, via Spydus app, phone, or at any Tablelands Libraries branch.
- Accept responsibility for all items borrowed on my card/family members and pay replacement costs for any items lost, stolen or damaged
- Inform the library of any changes to your contact details
- Report lost/stolen cards to Tablelands Libraries’ immediately
